The University of North Georgia marketing staff?is a division of the External Operations team of the athletic department and coordinates all marketing and promotion plans, special events?and social media fan engagement campaigns designed to increase awareness and interest in all UNG athletic events.?Corporate sponsorship deliverables are also executed and fulfilled by the marketing staff.

Promotions
On game?days, the marketing staff aims to strengthen the game atmosphere and fan experience by overseeing game specific activities, promotions, special entertainment appearances. The marketing staff also coordinates with other aspects of game?day experience such as the UNG cheerleaders, the pep band, drum line and Nigel the Nighthawk. Game promotions can be found noted on each sport's current game schedule.

Corporate Partnerships
The UNG Athletics Marketing Strategy is designed to align Nighthawk Athletics with reputable businesses and organizations committed to the mission and core values of both UNG and the NCAA Division II student-athlete experience.? Resources and funds generated annually through sponsor partnerships go directly to enhance and support the school’s 13 NCAA athletic programs and over 225 student-athletes. ?North Georgia Athletics encourages our student-athletes to pursue excellence in academics, athletics and community involvement.? The corporate partnership program is a great asset in helping us reach our goals for providing outstanding learning opportunities for our student-athletes, while also providing advertising and sponsorship exposure opportunities for businesses and organizations.? The Department of Athletics is continuously identifying opportunities to market and add value to businesses and organizations who want to be actively involved with UNG Athletics.?
